BEHIND THE SCENES WITH PRESTIGE SURFACES
We are thrilled to announce that we were invited back to Australia’s favourite home renovation show, contributing to the stunning landscapes on The Block Island 2024, filmed in the picturesque coastal location of Phillip Island for their 20th season. Our team sealed stunning pavement surfaces using our superior stone sealant #JUSTSEALIT across House 5, common areas, and the pool surrounds, ensuring each finish will stand up to the harsh elements, while looking pristine for the judges!
To celebrate The Block Island homes, Dave Franklin and Prestige Surfaces got together to host a memorable “Block Party” launch day, where we welcomed the community and fans of The Block to join us in the excitement. The day was filled with live music, a vibrant atmosphere, and a chance for the public to see the houses up close, learning more about the unique sealing process that went into each area of of the homes on The Block Island.
Many leading landscapers and builders will already know the importance of sealing when it comes to making surfaces more durable, easier to maintain and increase their ability to withstand harsh environments. We use our premium sealer #JUSTSEALIT to penetrate deep into porous material, physically altering the surfaces tension. A permanent chemical bond is formed after 30 days, resulting in a harder and more durable surface that looks great.
House 5 – Kristian and Mimi’s Limestone Paving
Working with Love It Landscaping, we sealed Kristian and Mimi’s (House 5) limestone paving with our superior #JUSTSEALIT sealant. This enhances the natural beauty of the limestone, protecting it for longevity. Keeping the stone clean and well-maintained prevents the accumulation of substances that could weaken the structure of the stone over time, allowing owners to enjoy its beauty and durability for many years to come.
Guests at our “Block Party” launch had the chance to see how this work transformed the outdoor areas, blending luxury and resilience.
Elegant Entrances using Silver Travertine Paving
The Nine in Six team designed the common areas with silver travertine, an elegant stone that adds warmth and sophistication. Our specialised cleaning and sealing process for the travertine keeps it in showroom condition, perfect for the public pathways it graces.
Poolside Porcelain Paving at its Finest!
David Franklin’s landscape vision for the pool featured porcelain paving, sealed for durability and slip resistance. This popular area captivated visitors at our launch event, where we highlighted the careful craftsmanship involved in creating a durable yet stylish poolside.
